Copper Bottom, a remarkable project by Adrian James Architects, with engineering contributions from Timber Innovations and Wyckham Blackwell, has been nominated for two prestigious categories at the Structural Timber Association Ltd Awards 2025: Architect of the Year and Custom & Self Build Project of the Year.

Timber Innovations was responsible for the design, manufacture, and installations of the highly insulated timber frame that defines the house’s sculptural form, while Wyckham Blackwell delivered the intricate Roof Truss arrangement that supports the cladding and enhances the building’s unique shape.

This collaboration of precision engineering and innovative design has resulted in a sustainable home that seamlessly integrates energy efficiency with striking architectural aesthetics.
